Work experience
Required for the qualification: a portfolio of evidence covering nine work experience modules, compiled at your workplace and signed off by your supervisor.

Studying the CGISA NQF Level 7
The NQF 7 papers complete CGISA’s Governance Practitioner level and lead into the Board papers at NQF 8. Students with a completed or part-completed degree may be exempt from some of them. CGISA decides exemptions, and an exemption lapses if you do not enrol within a year, so apply before you buy material.
Management Principles is complete, with sixteen packs and five parts of notes. Register interest in the other two and you will be told when their material is ready.
The qualification is not awarded on examinations alone: CGISA also requires a work experience portfolio, assessed as Competent or Not Yet Competent, which cannot be compiled in under three months. Start gathering evidence early rather than in the final weeks.
